Beeline
Created in Houdini 19.0.383 LC and rendered in Mantra. The inspiration for "Beeline" and "Beeline Beware" came from a @simon_houdini; tik-tok video on varying polybevel. Although I never used the technique, it led me to making arches. I built my arch based on the pictures and once one arch, it then took the natural progression of making many of them (for-each nodes) and having shadows play on the arches.
The glass was cracked using a sop level rbdmaterialfracture node.
Looking at various reference I decided to go with a less serious look (children's toy castles) which made me think of my bee. The bee/floor was rendered on a separate layer to apply motion blur to the wings and save render time on the background.
